Former Sacramento King Mike Bibby recently praised Vlade Divac as a teammate while also telling a funny story about the former All-Star.

“Vlade kinda showed me how to be. When I went to Atlanta, I was kinda like Vlade. He’s joking all the time. I went in the locker room one time to go to the bathroom, and he was smoking a cigarette before the game. I was like, ‘Is somebody smoking?’ I just see him over there like, ‘Puff.’ I said, ‘Ain’t no way Vlade. You smoking right before the game?’ Put it out, and went out and played. But he’s probably one of the best teammates as far as no matter what kind of game he had, he was going to be the same person when the game was over. Whether he scored 20 something points, no points, he’s gonna be the same person. That went a long way with me. I loved that.”
