Brooklyn Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn had nothing but good words to say about the superstar of the Portland Trail Blazers Damian Lillard.
Vaughn praised Lillard, adding that the All-Star guard ‘is changing the game’.
“We gave him the full boat tonight. What a compliment. What a player. He’s changing the game — the ability to cross half-court and shoot the basketball with ease and accuracy. You give him a lot of credit,” Vaughn said, via Nick Friedell of ESPN.
Lillard had another stellar performance (42 points and 12 assists) and led the Blazers to the 134-133 win over Vaughn and the Brooklyn Nets.
Portland will now face the Memphis Grizzlies for a place in the postseason, whereas the Nets will clash with the defending champions Toronto Raptors.
