Damian Lillard praised Brooklyn Nets young star Caris LeVert for his impressive show against the Portland Trail Blazers.

LeVert finished the game with 37 points (16/29 shooting), along with six rebounds and nine assists.

“Caris LeVert is cold,” Lillard said during a postgame interview.

Lillard (42 points, 12 points) and the Blazers stood tall and survived the Nets (134-133) to seal their place in the play-in tournament for the final playoff spot in the West.

Portland will face the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday and if they win, they will advance to the postseason. For its part, Brooklyn will battle the defending champions Toronto Raptors in the first round of the playoffs.
