Lonzo Ball and the head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans Alvin Gentry had a private meeting prior to the match against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Per Doris Burke of ESPN, Gentry told Ball to get his confidence back and return to the standards he was playing before the NBA suspension.

“Lonzo had a bit of a struggle since arriving down here at Disney, so it’s good to see him get off to a good start. In fact, Alvin Gentry was concerned enough that they had a private conversation saying, ‘Hey, you need to get your confidence back to where it was just prior to the hiatus,'” Burke said on ESPN, via Lonzo Wire.
