New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson talked about his love for getting out in transition after a big 126-108 victory vs. the Toronto Raptors at home last night (33 points/10 rebounds/5 assists/4 steals/2 blocks/12-15 FG/9-12 FT).

(via New Orleans Pelicans):

“If you go back to especially my college tapes, even when Lonzo [Ball] was here, I like to get out in transition. So coach did make it an emphasis that if you get the rebound, just push it. When I get the rebounds, or my teammates will throw it to me. Push it. And when I’m pushing it, force the defense to have to make quick decisions. You see somebody just push the ball down the court, your first thought is to get back. You got a shooter like Trey [Murphy] just kinda trailing behind, you just find him.”
