Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard says he isn’t surprised to find out players have tested positive for COVID-19 in the NBA’s Orlando bubble and he’s keeping his faith in the league’s ability to get the restart attempt right.

On Monday, it was reported that a pair of players are in isolation after testing positive for the coronavirus, which is quite worrying given the NBA’s aim. But, speaking to the press, the Los Angeles native seemed confident in his belief that a champion will be crowned.

Per ESPN, he said:

“It’s no surprise to me that somebody got it within the bubble. You know you bring in so many people from different cities and states and there’s no control over it pretty much. But I think we’re doing the best that we can – the NBA put together this process, we’re doing everything under the guidelines of testing every day. All we can do is try to stay optimistic about it and be positive and, hopefully, we could finish the season.”
