Tim Hardaway believes that the Golden State Warriors move to trade for Andrew Wiggins was the right one for the team.

In particular, the former Warriors point guard explained that Wiggins needed to come on a team, ‘where he’s third fiddle or fourth fiddle.’

As a result, Hardaway pointed out that the young forward will start to enjoy basketball again alongside the “Splash Brothers”.

“(He is) gonna help out a lot and do a lot of things that people don’t think that he’s gonna do,” Hardaway said “Bonta, Steiny & Guru” on 95.7 The Game, per NBC Sports.

“That was a great trade for the Warriors because Wiggins needed to come to a team where he’s third fiddle or fourth fiddle. He doesn’t want to be on a team (where) he’s one-two because that’s too much pressure on him. He just wants to play basketball and have fun and have no pressure on him.”

“This is the team to be on to do that and he’s going to excel. He’s gonna be all right,” Hardaway continued.
