Jacque Vaughn is expected to be the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets in the restart of the NBA on July 31st, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Vaughn only coached the Nets for two games, after replacing head coach Kenny Atkinson just one week prior to the NBA suspension.

“This is a guy that comes from the Spurs background, has the same pedigree as [Nets general manager] Sean Marks. As far as I know, he does a good job at working with players, building that relationship,” Charania said of Vaughn on the Load Management podcast, per Tim Daniels of Bleacher Report.
