Masai Ujiri never holds back, when it comes to speaking up against racial issues and social injustice. As a result, before the NBA confirmed his official 22-team return plan, the Toronto Raptors President of Basketball Operations shared his views on the aftermath of the George Floyd killing.

According to Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times, Ujiri talked on George Floyd, racism and his personal life experiences with his fellow NBA governors.

Earlier this week, the Toronto Raptors franchise reformer referred to the conversation on racism that “can no longer be avoided” in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death in the hands of the Minneapolis police.
