Los Angeles Lakers sharpshooter Danny Green watched ‘The Last Dance’ docuseries about the Chicago Bulls dynasty. ‘The Last Dance’ gave a close look at what kind of player and competitor Michael Jordan was. The 32-year-old shooting guard revealed one person who reminds him of Michael Jordan in an interview with Ros Gold-Onwude.

According to Green, it’s his former coach Gregg Popovich. “For sure Pop. It has to be. ‘Cause he doesn’t care about your feelings. To be a Michael Jordan you had to be mean. Not many guys have that. Kobe had it… Rondo, he’s one of those guys, he doesn’t care,” the two-time NBA champion said.

This season Green is focused on winning his third championship with a third team after doing with the Spurs and Raptors. He is averaging 8.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game for the Lakers.

Los Angeles is sitting atop the Western Conference with 49 wins and 14 losses with city rivals Clippers trailing behind with a 44-20 record.
