Last season’s finalists Maccabi Tel Aviv and Real Madrid could face each in group stage in next season’s edition of Euroleague.
Reigning Euroleague champions were placed among 2nd seeds and will avoid Greek champions Panathinaikos, Eurocup winners Valencia and Anadolu Efes in regular season.
As per Euroleague regulations, the performance of teams in European competitions during a three year period is used in seeding procedure.
Therefore, 2012 and 2013 winners Olympiacos are among 1st seeds alongside Final Four regulars CSKA Moscow, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The draw will take place on July 10.
