Former NBA guard Nick Young believes Klay Thompson will benefit from playing alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo with the Miami Heat.
Young expects the two big men to attract defenders near the basket, creating more open shooting opportunities for Thompson.
He also commented on his former teammate’s personal life and breakup with Megan.
“I feel it’s going to be a great opportunity for him. Just because the way those guys play. They’ll pack the paint. Bam can obviously shoot better than Giannis but that’s gonna leave Klay open for a lot of open shots. At his age, you don’t want to give him an inch.
“The best thing that happened to him was his breakup for sure (with Megan). He needed that. Klay done had the best. If you look at Klay lineup, he’s quiet but Klay gets them! I’m like ‘Klay you had that?’ An he’s like ‘had her on the boat.’”
