Victor Oladipo shared his thoughts on how he was trying to stay in shape, both mentally and physically, during the quarantine.

The star of the Indiana Pacers said he used this period as a way to rest his body and get stronger in order to be 100% ready when the season resumes.

“It’s been an interesting year for me because I tore my quad in January 2019, and I was out a majority of last season then I came back for 13 games and then boom it was over because of the coronavirus.

So, if you think about it, I haven’t played a full season in two years. You can look at it two ways at the end of the day. You decide what kind of person, what kind of character you have…. even though I had a great game and was finding my stride before corona…it’s given me an opportunity to rest up, get stronger and come back better than I ever have before.

I’m trying to maintain my strength and grow internally, and this is forcing us to sit down and relearn ourselves. Once I do that the external self will follow. Think different in order to be different,” Oladipo told Christina Tosi on an Instagram Live session last week.

Oladipo played just 13 games this season. He remained out of action for a year due to a serious knee injury.
