The Indiana Pacers are trading Victor Oladipo to the Houston Rockets for a package around Caris LeVert, according to Shams Charania.

LeVert was just dealt to the Rockets in the James Harden deal.

The full current trade details involving the Rockets, Pacers, Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers:

  • Rockets: Victor Oladipo, Dante Exum, Rodions Kurucs, 3 BKN first-rounders (2022, 2024, 2026), 1 MIL first (2022, unprotected), 4 BKN 1st round swaps (2021, 2023, 2025, 2027)
  • Nets: James Harden, 2024 second-round pick from Cavaliers
  • Pacers: Caris LeVert, 2nd-rounder
  • Cavaliers: Jarrett Allen, Taurean Prince

Oladipo, 28, will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, so there’s no guarantee that he will be with the Rockets long-term.

By acquiring Oladipo now, the Rockets could potentially include him in another deal at the March 25 trade deadline in order to acquire further value.

For now, the Rockets have a solid core that includes Oladipo, John Wall and Christian Wood.

After acquiring LeVert, the Pacers also now have a solid trio of their own including LeVert, Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon.
