John Wall talked about what the Washington Wizards have to do to become a title contender in the NBA.
Prior to the NBA suspension, the Wizards were in ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
“I love the team we have now. We have some great pieces and a lot of young guys that’s just getting the opportunity to play where they probably would have never gotten it on other teams.
But I feel if you want to be one of those teams [that’s competing for a title], you got to have veteran guys around that’s willing to understand their role.
That’s kind of what we dealt with in the years past with our teams, nobody really understood their role,” Wall told Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes during his appearance on the All The Smoke podcast.
