While the NBA season still hangs in balance, the league assesses all possibilities. According to NBA commissioner Adam Silver, “various jurisdictions” contacted the NBA about a possibility of hosting the remainder of the season, when circumstances allow it to continue.
Silver did not reveal what jurisdictions approached the NBA but the terminology used implies it was other countries. Presumably, the ones that are less affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
