Adam Silver, the Commissioner of the NBA, was not surprised that more NBA people were tested positive for the coronavirus.

Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz was the first player to test positive. Since then, 13 more people within the league have tested positive as well.

“Unfortunately, based on everything we know, significantly more positive cases in our league were inevitable. So, Thursday’s results did not come as a huge surprise and just like everyone else, we’re just trying to take each day as it comes,” Silver said, via Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.

The NBA has suspended the season for at least 30 days.
