David Griffin is excited that star rookie Zion Williamson is playing for the New Orleans Pelicans.
The GM and Executive Vice President of the Pelicans believes the future of the franchise is in good hands, thanks to Williamson.
“When you see it start with a 19-year-old kid, it gives you a great deal of comfort in the future of this franchise that it’s in the right hands from a player perspective,” David Griffin said, per Oleh Kosel of SB Nation.
Williamson is averaging 23.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists this season.
