The LA Lakers released a statement regarding the coronavirus crisis, after four players of the Brooklyn Nets tested positive for the virus.

The Lakers say they are now in contact with all their players and basketball operations staff members. They also noted that the health of their players, staff, fans, and society is their priority.

Seven NBA players (two of the Utah Jazz, one of the Detroit Pistons and four of the Brooklyn Nets) have been tested positive for the virus so far.

The league has decided to suspend the season for at least 30 days.
