Jusuf Nurkic will not make his season debut with the Portland Trail Blazers after the NBA suspension and the coronavirus outbreak.

Nurkic was expected to play tonight against the Houston Rockets, after a 12-month absence, and was ‘super excited’ about it. However, the decision of the league to suspend the season for at least 30 days due to the outbreak of the coronavirus changed his plans.

Nurkic recovered from a serious leg injury that sidelined him for one year, but he has to wait for his return to action.

So far, three players (Rudy Gobert, Christian Wood, Donovan Mitchell) have been tested positive for the coronavirus.
