The players and staff of the Oklahoma City Thunder will undergo coronavirus tests that will show whether they were exposed to the virus.

Thunder staff and players were advised to self-quarantine for a period of 24 hours to allow any potential viral infection to incubate and properly display in the test results. Many remained in hotels in Oklahoma City rather than going home.

The Thunder were scheduled to face the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, but the game was postponed, after Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for coronavirus. Gobert’s teammate Donovan Mitchell was also tested positive.

The NBA decided to suspend the season indefinitely.
