ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith named three coaches as the top candidates to take over the Brooklyn Nets.
During Monday’s episode of “First Take,” Smith said his top candidates for the open Nets job would be Tyronn Lue, Mark Jackson, and Gregg Popovich.
Popovich is the head coach of the San Antonio Spurs, while Lue is an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Clippers. Jackson last coached the Golden State Warriors from 2011 to 2014.
Brooklyn is in search for the replacement of head coach Kenny Atkinson, who parted ways with the team on Saturday.
