Markelle Fultz never had any intention to quit, even though he had been dealing with shoulder injuries over the past few seasons.
“A lot of people would have quit. I’m never going to give up. It doesn’t matter what it is. I can have one arm. I will find a way to play the game I love and do whatever I need to do to compete,” Fultz told Mirin Fader of Bleacher Report.
Fultz got the fresh start when he was traded to the Orlando Magic last season. The 21-year-old seems to have found a home in Orlando.
The Magic exercised their fourth-year team option on Fultz for the 2020-21 season. Fultz is averaging 11.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 58 games for the Magic this season.
