Orlando Magic guard Markelle Fultz was asked by the media over the weekend if he considers his defense underrated.

Reporter: “You’re obviously known for your handles, your shiftiness, getting to the basket, but do you feel like you’re an underrated defender? Maybe not get enough credit for that?”
Fultz: “One hundred percent, that’s something I pride myself on. I think defense is effort, and I think that’s something I can impact the game on: Going out there and making it tough on the other team’s guards, whoever I’m guarding. I definitely think I’m an underrated defender. I think I don’t get the recognition that I deserve, but as long as we’re winning, as long as I’m doing everything I can do to help my team win, that’s all I’ll worry about.”
