NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith talked about Joel Embiid’s recent situation, after Embiid and Jimmy Butler exchanged messages about Joel’s possible departure for the Miami Heat.
Smith expressed his opinion, stating that the Sixers’ big man and Jimmy Butler are very good friends, and Embiid was not happy when Butler left Philadelphia.
According to Smith, Embiid’s friendship with the Heat’s swingman, recent Philadelphia’s poor results, and coach inability to bring the team together could be an important factor for Joel’s decision whether to stay in the team.
