For the first time in the history of the German league, more than 4.000 people per game attended BEKO BBL games.

1.322.605 people attended the 306 games of the BBL’s regular season for an average of 4.322. The average grew 13.35% in comparison to last season’s attendance of 3.813.

Alba Berlin led all German clubs with a record average of 10.971. Bamberg and Bayern followed with 6.796 and 6.149 respectively. 

Ulm jumped from last season’s 14th attendance place to the 4th (5.471) for a growth of 87.5%.

It is the 6th time in a row that more than 1 million people attend regular season games.
