Brooklyn Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson is confident the team will turn things around, despite being 18-23 this season.

“I love our locker room. I really do. I love our locker room, love the team we have. We’re not where we want to be right now, obviously.

But, I have great confidence that we’re going to get there,” Atkinson said, per Brian Lewis of the New York Post.

The Nets, who play without their superstar Kevin Durant, are eighth in the Eastern Conference, one game behind the Orlando Magic and 8.5 games behind the Philadelphia 76ers.

In addition, star point guard Kyrie Irving has only played in 14 games this season because of a serious shoulder injury, which kept him sidelined for 26 games.
