Former teammates at Oklahoma City Thunder, Kendrick Perkins and Kevin Durant had a go at each other on Twitter.

It all started with Perkins’ reply to the Celtics writer Marc D’Amico who tweeted “I think Russ walked right into the door called “Second Round of the Playoffs” – THREE STRAIGHT TIMES!”.

To which Perkins replied: “KD lost in the second round without Russ when I was there. So what that mean? “

This tweet was not unnoticed by KD himseld. Durant responded by laughing at Perkins’ contribution during the playoff series against the Warriors:

Perkins ended the conversation by openly criticizing Durant for leaving OKC to join the Warriors who knocked out Thunder in playoffs:

The two have three NBA titles between them. Perkins won it in 2008 with the Celtics, while Durant won two in a row in 2017 and 2018 with the Warriors.
