Anthony Davis posted a game-high 23 points (on 8/12 shooting), grabbed nine boards, handed out four assists, tallied two steals and blocked a shot in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 108-95 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night at Staples Center. The Lakers improved to 26-7 and still have the second-best record in the NBA, whereas the Mavericks dropped to 21-11. After the game, Davis talked on their second win in a row:

“We just had to find ourselves again. We were able to get back to what we do defensively. And when we do that, we’re able to beat any team and feel good about ourselves. … I think it kind of messed them up a little bit; they tried different sets with (Kristaps) Porzingis and Luka, and it kind of disrupted them a little bit and taken them out of their offense,” Davis said, per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
