Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon will make his return to action against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday (29/12).

Gordon suffered a knee injury on November 11 and had been sidelined since then, after undergoing surgery.

Now, he has fully recovered and is excited he will return to the Rockets’ lineup against New Orleans.

“I’ve been playing with this injury for a while and it’s been irritating me for a while,” Gordon said, per Kelly Iko of The Athletic.

“I’m very anxious and excited to get out there and play the game how I play it. It’s gonna be fun and it’s gonna take me time to get where I want, but it’s a good step to get back to playing,” Gordon added.

Gordon has been averaging 10.9 points this season. Houston is at 21-10.
