Philadelphia 76ers head coach, Brett Brown, has been disappointed with the team’s performance in the last three games.

The 76ers have lost to the Brooklyn Nets, the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks, respectively, and currently are on a three-game losing streak. During their three-game slide, they have been outscored by an average of 14.3 points per game.

In addition, they have suffered back-to-back home losses and have seen their undefeated streak at home come to an end.

Against Dallas on Friday night (20/12), they were outscored 41-54 in the second half and suffered a heavy defeat (98-117).

“The past three games we have laid eggs. We have not played with a competitive drive. It’s not how I see the world,” coach Brown told reporters, per Tim Bontemps of ESPN.

Prior to the three-game losing streak, the Sixers were looking as contenders in the Eastern Conference at 20-7.

Now, they have dropped to 20-10 and are sixth in the standings, behind the Bucks, the Celtics, the Heat, the Raptors and the Pacers.

Many sports betting sites, like Legalbet, were considering Philadelphia as a top contender early in the season.

However, the 76ers keep struggling and play inconsistently on both ends. This prevents them from creating a winning streak that will allow them to close the gap from the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks.

The Sixers know this is a crucial season for them. Another failure to reach the Eastern Conference Finals will certainly bring changes to the roster.

With Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid as the leaders, it seems Philadelphia needs something extra in order to turn things around.

Because, at the moment, teams like the Raptors, the Celtics and the Heat are one step ahead of them. Maybe the squad will also consider making changes to the roster prior to the trade deadline on February 6.

For now, tonight’s (21/12) match against the Washington Wizards seems like a good opportunity to return to the winning track. The Wizards defeated them on December 5 (119-113) so the 76ers will have extra motivation to earn the win.

After that, Philadephia will face the Detroit Pistons on Monday (23/12) and will clash with the best team in the NBA, Milwaukee, on Christmas Day. And they certainly do not want to enter this game on a four(or even five)-game losing streak.
