The Philadelphia 76ers are going to play three scrimmages from July 24 to July 28, before playing their first official game in Orlando on August 1.

When speaking to reporters on Saturday, the head coach of the 76ers Brett Brown admitted that he plans to take things slowly in the scrimmages.

In particular, he noted that he is going “to be frugal” for his high-minutes players (Simmons, Embiid and Harris) in order to gradually get in shape and reduce the risk of injuries.

The Sixers entered the Disney World with the 6th best record in the East behind the Pacers and the Heat.
