Ahead of the clash with the Philadelphia 76ers on Christmas Day, Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez talked about the rivalry between the two teams.
Looking ahead to next week, you’ve got the Christmas game. Obviously, there’s a natural rivalry with the Sixers being two of the top teams in the East. Does that game being on Christmas add anything extra to the matchup?
“It’s definitely an exciting Christmas matchup. It’s a bit away, we all have to wait for Christmas, unfortunately. The Sixers are a great team. It’s always kind of like a knock-down, drag-out when we play them. It’s a fun, physical game.”
The Bucks are on top of the NBA, with a 25-4 record, while the Sixers are at 20-9.
