New York Knicks want to rebuild and return to the elite. To reach that goal the team will most likely need to make changes at its management.
Raptors’ President Masai Ujiri is reportedly the number one target as the new GM in New York. But, in order to get him, the Knicks would need to at least give up two first-round picks, according to Ian Begley of SNY.
That is the price another team asked for an executive who is a ‘tear lower’ than Ujiri. Giving away two first-round picks would not bode well with the Knicks’ goal of rebuilding though.
On the other hand, Ujiri’s record speaks for itself. He made the Nuggets one of the best teams in the Western Conference and brought the Raptors their first NBA title.
