The Golden State Warriors shooting guard Alec Burks, who signed a one-year contract with the Dubs last summer, thinks his teammate Steph Curry is in a ‘different type of mood right now’:

“He’s different. I don’t know what he got, he’s different. Just playing against him seven, eight years and then actually being around him every day, playing pickup with him, scrimmaging with him. He’s in a different type of mood right now. He’s locked in. It’s great to be a part of, not against,” Burks said, per Nick Friedell of ESPN.

Last season, Curry averaged 27.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. Burke, meanwhile, played for the Jazz, Cavaliers, and Kings, averaging 8.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per contest.
