During the first day of the “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” Tournament, Panathinaikos unveiled the banner of Thanasis Giannakopoulos.
15.000 fans at the Olympic Athletic Sports Center in Athens as well as the players and coaches of the four participating teams (Panathinaikos, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Fenerbahce, Armani Milano) paid tribute to the legendary co-owner of the “Greens”, who passed away a few months ago.
