A 13-0 run between the first and the second quarter helped Spain take over and never look back. France never threatened again after that.
Michael Caicedo and Juan Nunez led the winners with a game-high 21 points, while Ruben Dominguez added 15. Ousmane Dieng, Armel Traore and Yohan Traore had 10 points apiece for the losing squad.
Spain has won the gold medal four more times (206, 2009, 2013, 2018).
Dominguez was named the MVP of the tournament, averaging 13.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals.
