FIBA is releasing a four-episode documentary this month on the history of the FIBA Basketball World Cup.  

This documentary looks back over the history of FIBA’s flagship event and the players, games and tournaments that have shaped it into the spectacle it is today.

It covers 69 years and 17 tournaments and includes some of the biggest legends of the FIBA Basketball World Cup.

The documentary will be released as a four-episode series and will be available on FIBA Basketball World Cup FacebookYouTube and Instagram TV channels.

Episode 2 is now available and takes a closer look at the first 5 FIBA Basketball World Cups which took place in South America and the fierce rivalry between Yugoslavia and the USSR.
