Alex Abrines spoke with the official TV channel of Barcelona and referred to his decision to return to the Catalans.
Here is what the Spanish forward told Barca TV:
“I’m really looking forward to returning to Palau. I haven’t been there for three years and I’m very excited to come back.
Physically, I’m getting better, there’s still a month left to go back to work. Psychologically, I am looking forward to it with strength and much more desire than I have had in the last nine years.
I want to enjoy basketball again, win games, titles, but the most important thing to do is to enjoy and give the best.”
Abrines spent the previous three seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder (2016-2019), but parted ways with the team in February and was a free agent since then.
