Legendary serbian basketball player Vlade Divac is the new president of the Olympic comitee of Serbia. He was elected on tuesday and recieved a four year mandate, after winning the race against counter candidate Ivan Curkovic, former president of Partizan football club. One of Divac`s closest assistants will be Zarko Paspalj, also a serbian basketball legend.
– In my work I will especcialy focus on young talents, trying to keep them in Serbia as long as possible. I think we are losing a lot of young people who leave country in search of better training conditions, and we must stop thate – Divac said after becoming president.
