Bonzi Wells didn't stay for too long in China and he wasn't enjoying his first spell playing abroad with Shanxi Zhongyu. Former NBA player was having great stats in Chinese league with 34 points and 14 rebounds per game but decided to quit and continue the season elsewhere.
The club was waiting for Wells to return after Chinese New Year break though he didn't return and his contract was terminated. At this time his agent is looking for a team in Europe.
It was all about business in China according to Wells. And he wants basketball to be a pleasure again.
