Serbian sports journalist Vladan Tegeltija took to Instagram and posted Olympiacos official letter to the 12 clubs of the ABA League.
The “Reds” informed the clubs of their decision to join the league, while asking for their positive vote. Their request will be discussed at the ABA League General Assembly, which will take place on May 24 in Banja Luka.
Here is the letter sent by Olympiacos:
“Further to our letter dated March 7th, 2019, we would hereby like to inform you regarding Olympiacos‘ decision to participate in the ABA League and ask for your positive vote in the forthcoming General Assembly.
It is undisputable that, during the past years, ABA League has made great steps in establishing itself as one of the best-known basketball competitions in Europe.
For this exact reason, we are confident that, given Olympiacos’ recognized brand name, as well the expertise and vast experience of our staff, we are in the position to support efficiently your project and contribute to further growth and development of ABA League.”
