Base Oostende completed the signing of a 26 year-old 1.81 m point guard Darrel Mitchell. The player arrives from Khimik, Ukraine. Mitchell was one of the key players for his former club. He averaged 18.3 points and 5.4 assists per game in Ukrainian league. His stats were even more impressive in Eurochallenge – 21.3 points 5.7 assists during 6 games.
It will be the fifth club in Europe for Darrel Mitchell. He has previously played for Galatasaray (Turkey), Lietuvos Rytas (Lithuania), Elan Chalon (France), AEL (Cyprus) and Khimik (Ukraine).
