In a crazy game in Portland, the Blazers edged the Denver Nuggets in fourth overtime (140-137) and took a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference semi-finals.

With Portland up by two (138-136), Nikola Jokic made one of two free throws (138-137) and Seth Curry sealed the deal for the hosts from the free-throw line (140-137), as Denver turned the ball over in the final possession.

CJ McCollum matched his career playoff high with 41 points (28 points after the third quarter), while Damian Lillard added 28 points. The duo of the Blazers combined for 69 points. Rodney Hood came off the bench to post 19 points.

Jokic made his third triple-double of the playoffs, with 33 points, 18 rebounds and 14 assists in 65 minutes of action, with Jamal Murray having a playoff-high 34 points for the losing squad.

It was the second quadruple-overtime playoff game in NBA history, joining a 1953 game between the Boston Celtics and the Syracuse Nationals. Portland extended its winning streak at home to 12 games, while they remained undefeated at home this postseason.

Game 4 will be played in Portland on Sunday (05/05).
