The Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic scored 16 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, tallied two steals and dished out eight assists in the Nuggets’ 108-90 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5.
Following the victory, Denver head coach Michael Malone spoke about Nikola Jokic’s NBA playoffs debut, per ESPN:
“What Nikola is doing in his playoff debut has not happened very often in the history of this game, I hope in this playoff crowd, national TV audience, that people are tuning in and watching us and saying, man, this kid Nikola Jokic is for real.”
