Here is what the German player said:
On what cost his team the victory: “We started the game very bad and let Olympiacos score easily in the paint. We didn’t defend with strength, while Olympiacos played very well on both ends. Our defence was the main problem.”
On whether Thursday’s (21/03) game against Barcelona is must-win: “No game is must-win in the EuroLeague. But, due to the last two defeats, we have to make sure we win Barcelona.
It is going to be tough, as Barcelona is fifth right now, but we have to do everything we can to earn the victory.”
On whether the team still has a chance to qualify for the playoffs: “It is really difficult. Many teams are close to each other and in the same range in the standings. The last two defeats have cut our hopes to reach the playoffs.”
