Bayern Munich were unbeaten in the German League, yet Oldenburg handed the Bavarians their first loss in the season (83-82).

Thanks to three free throws by Rickey Paulding, who finished the game with eight points and seven rebounds, Oldenburg took the lead by one (83-82) and earned the victory.

Bayern had make a come-back from a 16-point deficit in the first quarter (27-11), yet they came up short in the end.

Will Cummings led the winners with a game-high 20 points, with Vojdan Stojanovski and Philipp Schwethelm adding 16 and 15 points, respectively.

Petteri Koponen had a team-high 18 points for the losing squad, as Derrick Williams posted 17 and Maodo Lo 14.

Oldenburg improved to 16-4 and are still chasing Bayern Munich, who lost for the first time in the season and dropped to 19-1.
