Armani Milano head coach Simone Pianigiani referred to the serious knee injury of the team’s center Arturas Gudaitis.

Here is what the Italian coach said in the post-game press conference of the win against Gran Canaria (104-106).

“He most suffered a broken knee ligament. It was shocking for the players to see their teammate like this in the locker room,”┬áPianigiani mentioned.

Gudaitis played just seven minutes, before leaving the game with a serious injury. He was forced to exit the court on a stretcher.

If the medical tests confirm what Pianigiani said, then Gudaitis will miss the rest of the season. The Lithuanian center has averaged 12.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game this season.
