Armani Milano used its incredible defensive play to defeat CSKA Moscow 57-67 and retain sole possession of third place in the standings. Milan improved to 13-6 and swept the regular season series over CSKA.  Devon Hall and Troy Daniels paced the winners with 13 points apiece.

Milan started the game with an impressive 10-23 run to end the first quarter, before the Russian get back in the game to close the first half down five (35-40). Kyle Hines and co. fueled an 0-10 run early in the fourth quarter to brake the game open as Milan led 46-62 to cruise to a big victory away from home.

Anadolu Efes survived a tough battle against Panathinaikos as Adrian Moerman hit the most important shot of the game with 0.6 remaining for the end of the regulation as the Turks prevailed with 82-81 over the Greek giants. Vasilije Micic led Efes with 20 points, while Moerman added 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots. Efes improved to 10-10 to reclaim a playoffs place, and Panathinaikos dropped to 4-15.

FC Bayern Munich broke its four-game road losing streak by beating Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz 77-84 at Buesa Arena on Friday night. The Germans fueled a mammoth 0-17 run that gave them a 33-42 lead at the intermission.  Vladimir Lucic and Hunter took over after the break, but Baldwin kept the visiting team close (71-73) midway through the fourth quarter.

Eventually, Corey Walden buried a three-pointer that sealed the outcome (73-80) with 48.3 seconds remaining for the end of the contest. Walden finished with 17 points, while Othello Hunter and Augustine Rubit had also 17 apiece. Wade Baldwin IV was the leading scorer for Baskonia with a game-high 23 points.

LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne achieved an important victory over as it knocked off Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade 69-67 at home. ASVEL dropped six of its last seven games in the EuroLeague. The Serbians gained control early with a 4-17 run to pull ahead in the second quarter, before Paul Lacombe inspired a comeback and ASVEL take the lead in the third quarter.

Both teams went back and forth for the rest of the game until Chris Jones hit the game-winning layup with 26 seconds remaining. Jones and Lacombe scored 17 points each to pace LDLC ASVEL to a thrilling win. Ognjen Dobric poured in 20 points for Zvezda, which fell to 7-12 after its fourth loss in the last five games. ASVEL improved to 9-11.
