The Minnesota Timberwolves plan to sign to a ten-day contract with point/shooting guard Isaiah Canaan.

This season, Cannan started as a Sun, but on November 28, he was released by the team. The Phoenix Suns head coach Igor Kokoskov said that waiving the player “was a business decision.”

During the season, Isaiah Canaan averaged 7.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game, while shooting at 39.5 percent from the floor and 34.7 percent from three in 26.5 minutes of action.
